Copyright policy

You may not copy, republish or redistribute UnstuckGuide content without permission, except as allowed by our Terms of Service, which permit personal, non-commercial reading and sharing a link to a page. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, you may send a notice as described below.

How to send a DMCA takedown notice

Send your notice to the contact address at the bottom of this page. To be effective under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a notice should include all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if several works are involved.
  2. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the URL of the page on this site where the material appears, and enough detail for us to locate it.
  3. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number and email address, so we can reach you about the notice.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notices

If material you posted or that concerns you was removed after a notice, and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice. A counter-notice should identify the material that was removed and where it appeared, include a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, include your contact information, and consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts for resolving the dispute. We may restore material after a counter-notice, subject to the law and to any court action by the original complainant.

Repeat infringers

We may, in appropriate circumstances, restrict or end access for users who repeatedly infringe copyright, and we may remove material that we believe infringes, whether or not we receive a formal notice.
