This policy explains what information is involved when you visit UnstuckGuide, a static website with no accounts and no sign-ups, and what choices you have. It is written in plain language; if anything here is unclear, contact us and we will explain it.

What this site collects

UnstuckGuide itself collects nothing directly from you. There is no account to create, no form that stores your details on this site, and no newsletter sign-up. Reading a guide does not require you to give us your name, email address or any other personal information.

If you email us, we receive only what you choose to include in that message, and we use it only to reply to you.

Hosting and technical logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which acts as its host and content delivery network. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may log technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and user-agent information, the pages you requested, and timestamps. These logs are used for security and for operating the site, for example to block attacks and to keep pages loading reliably.

We do not combine hosting logs with any other data to identify individual visitors, and we do not use them for advertising ourselves.

Cookies

This site uses strictly necessary hosting and security cookies, which are needed for the site to load and to stay secure. These cookies do not track you across other websites.

There are currently no analytics cookies on this site. We do not currently use an analytics service that follows you around the web or builds a profile of your visits.

Advertising cookies in the future

The site may display advertising in the future, including through Google AdSense. If and when advertising runs, Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites, so that the ads shown are more relevant to you.

You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google through Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of personalized advertising from many providers at optout.aboutads.info and, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu. Opting out does not remove advertising entirely; it means the ads you see are less likely to be based on your interests.

• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery for this site, as described above.
• Google AdSense — only if and when advertising runs on the site. Google's handling of advertising data is governed by Google's own policies, which you can read on Google's sites.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights including access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing. Because this site itself collects nothing directly, most requests will concern hosting logs held by our provider, and we will help you direct a request to the right place.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. This site does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond any advertising described above if and when it runs.

Children

If this policy changes, for example because advertising begins or the hosting setup changes, the updated policy will be posted on this page. The version on this page is the current one.
